1When will I be picked up?
We offer only Private Photo Safaris, so we can be flexible. But our suggested schedule is 7:30 am or 8:30 am. Unless you choose a Half Day experience the pick up would be at 12:30 pm
2Will my tour be cancelled in case of bad weather?
Yes, this is possible, in which case you will receive a certificate for your booking good for one year
3What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes, tennis shoes or boots are recom- mended.
4What should I bring?
Your printed proof of purchase and cash if you would like to purchase souvenirs and handicrafts in the maya village, along with your personal id.
5Are there any dangerous animals?
There is always the risk of getting insect bite, but the risk of being eaten by a jaguar is .000001% as they are on the brink of extinction. Note: monkeys are herbivores. Bushman photo tours is quali ed to respond in case of any incident, offering you the safety and tranquility you deserve during your tour. we want you to focus solely on enjoying your adventure.
6Do I get a personal medical insurance?
For added peace of mind, bushman has comprehensive Insurance including:
Tour operators’ liability
and Passenger accident liability
7When is the ideal time to book my tour?
At least one week in advance to ensure availability on your desired date.
8Will my tour be cancelled if not enough people are signed up in a private tour?
No, because we only organize private tours and believe in vip experiences, not in crowded and impersonal attention.
9Do I need my own camera?
We will lend you a camera and a nice lens with no extra charge. of course you are welcome to bring your own equipment.
10What will happen with the pictures i take on the tour?
After the tour you will recieve a usb with every photo, and we will also create a dropbox folder for you to share and see the pictures taken by your companions.
11How is the weather?
The year-round temperature is in the range of 25 to 33 degrees celcius, and humidity will make you sweat all day, so be prepared to drink lots of water. Rain is common during the nights of september and october.
12Language?
We have staff who speak english, german and french. please state your language preference during your booking.
13Do I need to pay an extra fee for the entrance to any of the sites we will visit?
No, we have everything arranged and paid for you.
14Can I bring my children?
The activities are suitable for children under 8 years old with an extra fee of $80 usd. Children 16 years old and above pay the adult rate.
15Disabled people?
All are welcome, we will make it possible for adventurers of all abilities to participate in the tour.
16I want to cancel my booking
Cancellation charges apply as follow:
(a) Cancellation received 48 hours or more before departure will generate a non re- fundable administrative fee of 60% of total cost or deposit – whichever is the greater amount (b) Cancellation received 48 hours before departure will not be refunded. It is not possible to change the booking date on the same day of your visit.
